Anglo-Continental’s Intensive Online OET Preparation Course aims to equip candidates at a C1 level with effective test strategies across all four modules: Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Listening. The course focuses on building test-taking strategies with expert step-by-step guidance using OET study materials and including recommended self-study and homework tasks. The course includes a pre-course task, which is designed to provide the trainer with an overview of the trainee’s level before course commencement.

YMS Working Holiday Course (30 Long-Term General English lessons per week)
The English lessons provided will consist of at least 8 weeks. The course package includes:
- Orientation to Working in the UK
- Assistance in finding a job
- English language course – 30 lessons (22 hours and 30 minutes) per week
- Homestay accommodation (single room – 16 meals per week)*
Programme Price 2025:
For programmes that are 20 or more weeks we offer reduced fees:
20 week package price: £11,745
£555 for each additional week

YMS Working Holiday Course (30 General English lessons per week)
The English lessons provided will consist of at least 8 weeks. The course package includes:
- Orientation to Working in the UK
- Assistance in finding a job
- Airport pick-up at London Heathrow airport to homestay family
- English language course – 30 lessons (22 hours and 30 minutes) per week
- Homestay accommodation (single room – 16 meals per week)*
Programme Price 2025:
8 week course package price: £5,785
£615 for each additional week

Educational leave at Anglo-Continental School of English in Bournemouth
Anglo-Continental is an established English language school with 75 years’ experience in teaching English to students from across the globe. The school was founded in 1950 and today our courses are regularly inspected and accredited by The British Council. Anglo-Continental has taught English language courses to over 400,000 students from 120 different nationalities.
Anglo-Continental has one of the largest English language school campuses in the UK. A choice of courses is offered for everyone – from young students to senior citizens, complete beginners to advanced examination candidates, school and university students to business executives and professionals. We even teach teachers of English!
Our English language courses are taught by teachers who have a recognised English language teaching qualification i.e. CELTA, Trinity College TESOL Certificate or equivalent. Most teachers have a degree level qualification.
Within our established long-term team, a number of teachers have Masters level qualifications, some have qualified teacher status (QTS) and some have specialist subject qualifications. Many of these teachers have positions of responsibility according to their areas of expertise.
What is Bildungsurlaub?
Bildungsurlaub gives employees in Germany the opportunity to attend further education once a year to keep their knowledge and skills up-to-date. The employer continues to pay the employees salary during this period of education leave but there are some conditions.
Anglo-Continental’s courses are recognised by Bildungsurlaub which is in all German states except Saxony and Bavaria.
Anglo-Continental Courses eligible for Bildungsurlaub
- Intensive Study in a mini group plus individual tuition (E-2.40) 30 hours per week
- Intensive Individual Tuition (E-3.40) 30 hours per week
- Intensive Course (G-1.30) + 10 individual lessons = 30 hours per week
- IELTS examination practice + Intensive Course (X-2.30) + 10 individual lessons = 30 hours per week
- English for Business (B-1.30) + 10 individual lessons = 30 hours per week
- English for Law (S-6.30) + 10 individual lessons = 30 hours per week
